Market Manager

JD:

∙ Providing vision and business leadership in Kazakhstan markets

∙ Building credibility and solid relationship with the business partners

∙ Setting strategic direction, developing and implementing Business plans (financial targets, pricing and distribution strategy, advertising and promotion budgets, marketing planning) and Brand plans (image, visibility, desirability, market share)

∙ Define business objectives for the year (negotiating volume growth, depletions, shipments, A&P) identifying and capitalizing on new growth opportunities

∙ Brand development: adaptation and implementation of the brands strategies working closely with the distributors’ team in the market for all MH brands through the execution in both ATL and BTL with P&L responsibility

∙ Assess POSM needs and order POSM , coordinate the production of local POSM with the distributor team and local agencies

∙ Evaluate the quality of accomplished activities, provide recommendations and Best Practice for proper activation of Brands in line with guidelines

∙ Control efficient spending of A&P budget, prepare accruals

∙ Coordinate and organization

∙ Regular market visits to assess market situation and be in day to day contacts with the distributor

∙ Improve brand presence in the trade: advise on pricing and listing improvements, develop on-trade flagships plan and ensure its execution, develop activities plan and ensure its execution

∙ Coordination of Legal aspects, keeping track of progress on the different projects across CIS (distributorship contracts, trademark protection)

∙ Anticipating and leading changes in the distributor company (structure, brands knowledge, culture, people recruitment)

Profile:

Education: University Degree educated

Languages: Fluent Russian & English (French a plus)

Professional experience & know how:

∙ Minimum 5 years’ as sales development or market manager of business context of CIS

∙ Ideally supported by marketing / FMCG / luxury goods

∙ Local with international mind-set (knowledge of the local culture is important)

∙ Strong negotiations skills

∙ Technical Mastery (MS Office, MS Excel including functions like Pivot table, etc.)

∙ Good presentation skills

∙ Good analytical skills

Personal & interpersonal skills:

∙ Strong drive for results

∙ Good planning and organization skills-attention to detail

∙ Strong communication and collaborative skills

∙ Ability to adeptly manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail;

∙ Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner

∙ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
